My phone updated just before 6am on Saturday 5 July. I was on holiday at the time. When I got home, I transferred my holiday photos from my A05s to my laptop as I normally do, via USB cable. I instantly noticed that the last photos I had taken were at the top of the screen - and had no Date Taken. Every photo I had taken since the update was like this - yet the ones before the update were fine.
I have played around with things to try and suss this out. When I transfer via email the Date Taken is lost too. When I transferred via Phone Link (which my Microsoft Account is linked to), then this did not happen, the Date Taken was still on the Photo file.
So it sort of looks like Microsoft does not like my Samsung phone update. Is there something I can change on the phone to stop the Microsoft security kicking in? I have made sure that Location is switched on on the Camera app. Phone Link is OK but you cannot batch transfer with it. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help 🙂
